Several debug windows are available in STVD. You can access them by selecting View
menu when a debug session is ongoing.
One of the most useful windows is the Peripheral registers window. It can be used to
display the content of the STM8S105C6 peripheral registers during the debug session. (see
Figure
38).
The Watch window displays the values the code variables. Just drag and drop a variable
from your code into the Watch window.
The information displayed in the debug windows are refreshed when the program is stopped
(for example by a break point). (see
Figure
39)
