4.1.3.3 Adapter Information
The programmer is equipped with a standard DIP socket. For some device types, users need to use
appropriate adapters. The Adapter Information dialogue box including:
·Adapter type such as SA244
·PEP may be necessary to program devices which have larger pin count.
·Instruction for insertion
·Applicable chip’s size
·The wiring layout of the adapter and DIP socket
Chip Insertion
·DIP: Chips are inserted at the bottom line of the socket with the nick upward. The diagram below is the
process of inserting a 28-pin chip.
