International QM standards
Manufacturers insist that their suppliers run QM systems
that cover every function within the company and are
precisely aimed at reliably controlling its processes and
improving them continuously. These requirements are
laid down in the international QM system standard
ISO TS 16949:2002.
Corporate certification to ISO TS 16949
The EPCOS quality policy stipulates that its QM system
must satisfy the requirements of the most demanding
international standards in any particular case. The com-
pany has therefore been certified worldwide in accor-
dance with ISO TS 16949:2002. The EPCOS QM system
is continuously monitored and systematically developed
within the company. Zero tolerance of compromise in
quality also means striving for ongoing improvement in a
continuous process, whereas process control is the key
to business success. It is the only way to ensure products
and services of the highest quality and thus customer
satisfaction.

Mit seinem Qualitätsmanagement-System und der unter-
nehmensweit laufenden Null-Fehler-Kampagne unter
Verwendung der Six-Sigma-Methodik verbessert EPCOS
konsequent die Beherrschung seiner Prozesse und damit
die Qualität seiner Produkte. Dass Kunden den strikten
Automobilindustrie, der Informations- und Kommunikati-
onstechnik, der Industrie- sowie der Konsum-Elektronik.
Internationale QM-Standards
Hersteller bestehen bei ihren Lieferanten auf QM-Syste-
men, die sich über alle Funktionen des jeweiligen Unter-
nehmens erstrecken und konsequent darauf ausgerich-
tet sind, Prozesse sicher zu beherrschen und ständig zu
verbessern. Diese Forderungen haben sich in der inter-
nationalen QM-Systemnorm ISO TS 16949:2002 nieder-
geschlagen.
Konzernzertifizierung nach ISO TS 16949
Dass das QM-System bei EPCOS den Forderungen
der jeweils anspruchsvollsten internationalen Standards
genügt, hat EPCOS in seiner Qualitätspolitik festgelegt:
So wurde der Konzern weltweit nach ISO TS 16949:2002
zertifiziert. Das EPCOS-QM-System wird intern ständig
überprüft und systematisch weiterentwickelt. Keine Kom-
promisse bei der Qualität zu akzeptieren, heißt auch, in
einem andauernden Prozess immer noch besser zu
werden, wobei die Prozessbeherrschung der Schlüssel
zum Erfolg ist. Nur sie führt zu Produkten und Service-
leistungen mit höchster Qualität und Kundenzufrieden-
heit.
Immer anspruchsvollere Qualitätsan-
forderungen werden heute durch die
gesamte Produktionskette weiterge-
geben. Zunehmend gelten härtere
Qualitätsmaßstäbe in den Schlüssel-
märkten von EPCOS, wie in der
Qualitätskurs honorieren, belegt ei-
ne Vielzahl von Auszeichnungen.
