As the ZM3102N Z-Wave Module contains a RF transceiver good supply voltage decoupling is
important. Two decoupling capacitors should be placed at the VCC pin (EP11), a 1.0uF and a 100nF
capacitor is recommended. The two capacitors should be placed as close to EP11 as possible and the
capacitors should be placed between the ZM3102N Z-Wave Module supply line and the via that goes to
the power plane as shown in Figure 7.
