Eureka UHF Active Reader

The Eureka UHF Active Tag Reader is a self contained

receiver unit with an 868MHz PCB dipole antenna

that detects and decodes Eureka-iD tags. Ideal for

personnel and asset identification, tracking, security

and access control applications.

The reader unit communicates via TCP/IP over a

standard LAN connection. The unit has a 12V DC

power supply.

Reader configuration can be setup through software

and firmware control.

The reader unit can detect transmitting Eureka-iD

tags up to 100 metres away in free air but will vary

dependant on environment and factors that effect RF.

The reader can be used as a stand alone reader with

Eureka-iD transmit only tags and can also be used

with Eureka-iD wakeup tags when used in

conjunction with the Eureka industrial wakeup unit.

Wakeup units provide controlled tag activation fields

that provide added flexibility to a system.

The Eureka UHF active tag reader offers a cost

effective long range tagging system for a wide variety

of applications.
