Description
The Le9531 Ringing SLIC device is a single-channel device optimized to provide battery feed, ringing, and
supervision on voice loops found in short-loop VoIP applications. This device is functionally equivalent of Le9530
one channel.
This device is optimized to interface to the Broadcom BCM3378/3380/3382 and BCM6816 devices, or a similar
codec. The Le9531 device operates from a single, user-adjusted battery and a +3.3 V V
. It provides forward and
CC
reverse battery feed, voice transmission, power ringing, an ultra low-power scan state, ground start (Tip open), and
a disconnect state. A test load switch is also included to support integrated test algorithms.
Le9531 is available in 28-pin QFN (4mm x 5mm) and 48-pin eTQFP. With the 48-pin eTQFP package it is pin to pin
compatible to Le9530 channel 2.
