The Infrared Emitting Diodes in the Table will have the emitter chip changed. Changed parts will begin

shipping in November 2007 for all lot numbers. See the Illustrations for examples of how Sharp marks

lot dates on the packing box. Sharp is making no changes to the optical, reliability, quality, mechanical,

electrical, or RoHS specifications.

Effect of Change:

Parts with the changed emitter chip will begin shipping in November 2007. All shipments of the affected

parts carrying barcode ∗7N∗∗∗∗∗∗∗∗∗ (for November changes – see the Table and Illustrations) and

onward will be changed.
