Description of Change:

To ensure an uninterrputed supply of packing materials, Sharp is changing the packing sleeve materials

for the Photocoupler and SSR parts listed beginning on the next page. Sleeves manufactured up to May

2009 are made of High Impact Polystyrene; sleeves manufactured after this date will be made of either

High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS).

There may be some slight color differences in these packing materials, but the antistatic properties

remain the same. Sharp is making no changes to the optical, reliability, quality, mechanical, electrical,

or RoHS specifications.

Effect of Change:

There is no effect upon optical, reliability, quality, mechanical, electrical, or RoHS specifications.
