External synchronized operation is possible by supplying a synchronization signal to the SYNC pins of HA16163s. In
this case, a frequency not exceeding 1/2 that of the master clock should be set for the HA16163s.
A maximum master clock frequency of 4 MHz should be used. See the figure below for the input waveform conditions.
