SAFE USE INSTRUCTIONS ALUMINUM CAPACITORS wrt DEHP

USE IN PRODUCT

DEHP is used as plasticizer in the PVC insulation sleeve of certain types of Vishay Aluminum

Capacitors.

The DEHP concentration in the PVC is about 4-10wt%.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid exposure:

- wash your hands after handling the capacitor, i.e. touching the PVC sleeve.

- use gloves in case of frequent contact

- do not swallow

- in case of smoke or fire do not inhale the vapors

In case of accident, e.g. smoke or fire, or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
