The VN800S and VN800PT are monolithic
devices designed in STMicroelectronics VIPower
M0-3 technology. The VN800S and VN800PT are
intended for driving any type of load with one side
connected to ground. The active V
clamp protects the device against low energy
spikes (see ISO7637 transient compatibility
table).
Active current limitation combined with thermal
shutdown and automatic restart protects the
device against overload. The device automatically
turns off in the case where the ground pin
becomes disconnected.
This device is especially suitable for industrial
applications in norms conformity with IEC1131
(programmable controllers international
standard).
