Convertor from RS232 and USB to SPI
Product Overview
Mini Circuits’ RS232/USB-SPI-N is a compact, USB to SPI and RS232 to SPI convertor operating at a baud
rate of 9600 bps with an even parity bit and 8 data bits per word. The convertor uses standard TTL levels for
the SPI signals and accepts a wide range of voltage levels for the RS232 signals. Power to the convertor is
supplied via the USB port from either the USB bus or a power adaptor if the USB bus is not in use. This model
is constructed in a plastic case (size of 2.53" X 1.68" X 0.92") with a USB B female port, a standard RJ45
network port for the SPI signals and a 9-pin D-Sub female port for the RS232 signals.
The RS232/USB-SPI-N is supplied along with a software CD containing a graphical user interface program
featuring an API DLL com object. Also included are a 2.7ft. USB cable, a power adaptor suitable for both US
and EU power systems with a USB A female connector, a 6ft. D-Sub 9 male-female cable, and a 5ft. RJ45 plug
to RJ45 plug cable. Longer USB cables are available as an additional option.
