Overtravel Type
Overtravel type limit switches offer a longer
Standard Limit Switches
Overtravel Limit Switches
overtravel (OT) to accommodate different
cam shapes. The key difference between
"standard" and "overtravel" is in the angle
of operation: overtravel types can operate
at 90 on either side of the center point.
Standard types are recommended for
operation at 45 on either side of the center
point. However, overtravel type switches
cannot be expected to provide 90
operation on only one side.
