Pulse Response
A measurement of the SAW response to the interrogating pulse is presented in Figure 5.
Pulse Shaping and Spectral Response
The pulse shaping effect is easily noticed in the time domain. Whenever a phase inversion occurs, it
involves a ‘soft’ envelope around it – hence lowering the side bands. A measurement of the spectral density
of the signal is presented in Figure 6.
