The Z8 Encore! XP F64XX Series does not use the eZ8 CPU’s 64 KB Data Memory
address space.

512 byte Information Area is accessed by setting bit 7 of the Page Select Register to 1.
When access is enabled, the Information Area is mapped into the Program Memory and
overlays the 512 bytes at addresses
enabled, execution of LDC and LDCI instruction from these Program Memory addresses
return the Information Area data rather than the Program Memory data. Reads of these
addresses through the On-Chip Debugger also returns the Information Area data.
Execution of code from these addresses continues to correctly use the Program Memory.
Access to the Information Area is read-only.
