1 SCOPE
1.1 Content
This specification describes the design, the characteristics, the versions, the tests and the quality
requirements of the Micro Quadlok System (MQS).
1.2 General Product Description
Micro Power Quadlok and Power Quadlok is the consequently further development of the contact system
Micro Quadlok System in direction high current carrying capacity.
Resting upon the standard centerline 2.54 mm Micro Power Quadlok enlarges the MQS-Contact-Family in
the centerline 5.08 of the average and the Power Quadlok in the centerline 7.62 of the high capacity.
The product family allows a space saving combination of signal- and high current contacts and provides
through the standard contact size for a flexible system structure
1.3 Application Sector
The contact system is designed for electronic and electrical applications in motor vehicles, where vibration
and mechanical stress can, in the long-term, affect the quality of conventional contact systems.
