Step 17
Remove the contact end cap.
NOTE: Be careful not to lose the
white bearing that sits inside the
contact end cap. (See Photo 15)
Step 18
Clean the old conductive grease
from the contact end cap. Apply
new conductive grease.
Step 19
Lift the mag roller out and away
from the hopper.
Step 20
Remove the mag roller drive
gear, stabilizer bar, and mag
roller bushings from the mag
roller.

NOTE: Do not lose the two C-
shaped inner-bearing attached
to the stabilizer bar. Clean the
bushings using a soft cloth and
alcohol.

Remove the two screws holding the
doctor blade.
(See Photo 17)
These screws are longer than all the other
screws in this cartridge and must be used
here only.

Remove the two white plastic scrapers
from the ends of the doctor blade.
(See Photo 18)
Step 23
To remove the doctor blade, lift the right
side of the doctor blade straight up.
(See Photo 19)
NOTE: Do not break the alignment pins
on the toner hopper. If the doctor blade
is not aligned properly print defect can
appear.
Step 24
Remove the two clear spacers that sit
behind the doctor blade. (See Photo 20)
Step 25
Dump the remaining toner from the
toner hopper. Using dry compressed air
or a vacuum, clean out the hopper.
Step 26
Clean the toner sensor wire using a swab
and alcohol.
Step 27
Fill the toner hopper through the mag
roller open. NOTE: Be very careful not to
bend the sensor wire

Reassemble in the reverse order.
