Offset Definition
The offset of the X and Y signals is defined as the mean value between the signed
maximum and minimum values of the idealized sine or cosine wave.
Amplitude Definition
The amplitude is defined as half the difference between the signed maximum and
minimum values of the idealized sine or cosine wave.
