Reset
GO_IDLE_STATE (CMD0) is the software reset command, which sets these Hitachi Mobile Embedded
Flashes into the Idle State independently of the current state. In the Inactive State these Hitachi Mobile
Embedded Flashes are not affected by this command. After power-on these Hitachi Mobile Embedded
Flashes are always in the Idle State. After power-on or command GO_IDLE_STATE (CMD0) all output
bus drivers of these Hitachi Mobile Embedded Flashes are in a high-impedance state and these cards will
be initialized with a default relative card address (0x0001). The host runs the bus at the identification clock
rate f
generated by a push-pull driver stage (refer to also Chapter “Power on” for more details).
OD
CMD0 is valid in all states with the exception of the Inactive State. While in Inactive state the card will not
accept CMD0 unless it is used to switch the card into SPI mode.
