Description

The IdentiFlex 602 with Voice Evacuation (IF602VE) is ide-

ally suited for small- to medium-sized installations of com-

mercial, institutional, and industrial life-safety applications.

The IF602VE offers all the features of today’s most

advanced life safety systems. The integration of analog

and addressable hardwired circuits allows system engi-

neers to customize panels and maximize efficiency for a

given application.

The IF602VE can monitor and control up to 252 intelligent

analog addressable input/output points. The interactive

operator’s display uses LED prompting for ease of pro-

gramming and user operation. The alphanumeric display

and keypad simplify field programming, or download pro-

gramming from a Windows

State-of-the-art, single-channel (25 watts) voice evacuation

is built into the IF602VE panel. It is expandable to 50 watts.

With zone splitting, up to 50 watts of audio power can be

divided into as many as eight speaker circuits (zones), and

full manual control with status indication is included via a

separate keypad.

With the IF602VE, up to five field-programmable messages

(up to 60 seconds total message duration) can be recorded

with an integral microphone or from an external audio

source. The panel provides full supervision in both active

alarm and standby conditions; the amplifier outputs, field

wiring, message generator, all tone generators, and the

microphone are all supervised.

The IF602VE’s housing was designed to be both aestheti-

cally pleasing and functionally sound. The cabinet is

designed to fit between studs for semi-flush mounting. The

compact design and key-activated dead-front construction

enables secure routine maintenance of the system. Access

to system function keys is limited by a key switch. Multiple

levels of password protection prohibit unauthorized use.

The circuit boards are mounted on a removable chassis,

and are designed with pluggable terminal strips for ease of

installation and service.
