(4) Border
The border is output in only the OSDS mode. The all bordered (bordering around of character font)
and the shadow bordered (bordering right and bottom sides of character font) are selected (refer to
Figure 2.16.34) by bit 2 of the OSD control register 1 (refer to Figure 2.16.3). The ON/OFF switch for
borders can be controlled in block units by bits 0 to 2 of the block control register i (refer to Figure
2.16.4).
The OUT1 signal is used for border output. The border color is fixed at color palette 8 (block). The
border color for each screen is specified by the border color register i.
The horizontal size (x) of border is 1T
the character font dot size. However, only when the pre-divide ratio = 2 and character size = 1.5T
horizontal size is 1.5T
vertical dot size of character font.
Notes 1 : The border dot area is the shaded area as shown in Figure 2.16.36.
2 : When the border dot overlaps on the next character font, the character font has priority
3 : The border in vertical out of character area is not displayed (refer to Figure 2.16.38).
(refer to Figure 2.16.37 A). When the border dot overlaps on the next character back
