6.1.22 Set-Sleep-Mode – E6H or 99H
This command causes the compact flash card to set BSY, enter the Sleep mode, clear BSY and generate
an interrupt. Recovery from sleep mode is accomplished by simply issuing another command (a reset is
permitted but not required). Sleep mode is also entered when internal timers expire so the host does not
need to issue this command except when it wishes to enter Sleep mode immediately. The default value
for the timer is 15 milliseconds.
6.1.23 Standby – E2H or 96H
This command causes the compact flash card to set BSY, enter the Sleep mode (which corresponds to
the ATA “Standby” Mode), clear BSY and return the interrupt immediately. Recovery from Sleep mode is
accomplished by simply issuing another command (a reset is not required).
6.1.24 Standby-Immediate – E0H or 94H
This command causes the compact flash card to set BSY, enter the Sleep mode (which corresponds to
the ATA “Standby” Mode), clear BSY and return the interrupt immediately. Recovery from Sleep mode is
accomplished by simply issuing another command (a reset is not required).
