“Clear CPU BUnit?” means to clear the contents of software settings for CPU
Bus Units or data link tables set with CVSS/SSS online operations. If this data is
held, all data will be held regardless of where or not the Units the settings are for
actual exist. If the data is cleared, only data for Units not currently mounted in the
system will be cleared.
This operation cannot be used from a Programming Console connected to a
SYSMAC BUS/2 Remote I/O Slave Unit.
In this example, an I/O table is created after clearing the CPU Bus Unit settings
and data link tables.

Access the I/O table menu.
Specify “Create.”
Input the password 9713.
Press the Write Key to access the following display to specify proces-
sing for CPU Bus Unit settings.
