Refer to Section 1 Introduction for details on connecting cables, connectable
Units, and the maximum number of Programming Devices allowed per PC.
When connecting to the CPU Unit, connect the Programming Console to the
peripheral device connector (PERIPHERAL). The Programming Console can
be connected to the PC while the PC is turned on, and even while the PC is oper-
ating.
1. Remove the cable connector cover.
2. Insert the connector.
The removed cable connector cover should be attached to the rear panel of
the Programming Console in order not to lose it.
Be sure to check the direction of the connector and insert it correctly. Insert
the connector until it locks into place.
