7. Starting the Trace

Pretrigger setting sets how much data is to be stored prior to the trigger.
Click on [Pretrigger].
The Pretrigger Setting window opens.
Click on one from among the multipliers.
Click on [Up] or [Down]. The number of data items increases or decreases by the number set by
[Multiplier] with each click.
Click on [OK].
Pretrigger Setting window closes and Trace Data Graph window is restored.
Select [Pretrigger] using the Tab Key, then press the Space Key or Return Key.
The Pretrigger Setting window opens.
Select [Multiplier] using the Tab Key, then select the multiplication rate using the Up and Down
Cursor Keys.
Select [Up] or [Down] using the Tab Key.
Press the Space Key.
The number of data items increases or deceases by the number set by [Multiplier] each time the
Space Key is pressed.
Select [OK] using the Tab Key, then press the Space Key on Return Key.
Pretrigger Setting window closes and Trace Data Graph window is restored.
Click on [Start Trace]. The Data Trace window opens.
Click on [Start]. The program is in [Trigger Wait] status.
Select [Start Trace] using the Tab Key, then press the Space Key or Return Key.
The Data Trace window opens.
Press the Space Key or Return Key.
The machine is in [Trigger Wait] status.
press the Escape Key.
Data Trace window closes and Trace Data Graph window is restored.
