In this control technique, the magnitude of the current flowing into windings is controlled by a control loop
with a current feedback. The current in a motor phase winding is measured directly by a current/voltage
converter or by a current sense resistor connected in series with the phase. The current is compared with
the reference current, obtaining an error signal. The current error is compensated by the control law, and
an appropriate control action is taken.
