Word Formatted Data
There are three commands which may be accepted. All commands must end
in the special characters #$0D and #$0A which are CR (carriage return) and
LF (line feed). The accepted commands are:
The nnnn values are 0000-FFFF and correspond in order to the data
displayed on both the graph and bar graphs as follows: X/A, Y/B, Z/C, W/D.
The nnnn values are 0000-FFFF and correspond in order to the data
displayed the graphing component as follows: X, Y, Z, W.
The nnnn values are 0000-FFFF and correspond in order to the data
displayed on the bar graph component as follows: A, B, C, D.
The following microcontroller applications are designed to run on the QB8
processors.
The function of the Quick Start Application is to output two PWM signals at the
QB8’s PTB5 pin and PTC0 pin. The PTB5 pin drives the sound of the Buzzer,
and outputs a PWM signal that is generated by the dedicated PWM module
from the QB8 microcontroller. The PTC0 pin drives the illumination of the LED
labeled PTC0. The PTC0 pin outputs a PWM signal that is emulated and
synchronized with the PTB5 pin’s PWM signal.
The LEDs that can be enabled by the LED_ENABLE jumpers light up in
different combinations each time the PTA2 button on the DEMO9S08QB8
board is pressed. The potentiometer will control the intensity of the PTC0 LED
via PWM signals on the DEMO9S08QB8 board when the PTA2 button is
pressed three times after reset.
This application comes pre-programmed into the memory of the QB8
processor, so the user should be able to run this program the first time the
