Series 740 Filter Cartridges to be quickly installed in
conventional vertical filter vessels for 222 style cartridge
filters. The System uses the combination of 222 Adapter
Sockets and 222 Plugs to adjust from 2.5-inch diameter
filters to 7-inch diameter filters.
Adapter system consists of an adapter to fit an existing
vessel hole, set of plugs to seal the unused vessel holes,
and an insertion/removal tool to assist in placing the
plugs and adapters in the bottom of the vessel. An
optional cartridge support tube for use in higher
temperature and pressure applications is also available.
3M™ High Flow Filter Cartridge 740B, which incorporates
the patented radial pleat, puts an extraordinary amount
of surface area into a single cartridge. Switching to the
3M Series 740 results in high loading capacity for long
life and lower cost filtration, fewer cartridges for fewer
change outs and less labor costs, fewer seals and
reduced risk of bypass thus higher performance, and
extremely low disposal costs -- less than a tenth of some
cartridges.
