10.3.2 Hand Tools
The hand tool is a pistol grip ratchet type manual inserter. The insertion punch of the hand tool
can be adjusted for controlling insertion depth and once activated must complete the entire
insertion cycle before returning. The punch is mechanically advanced and spring returned and
the connector sub-assembly is manually advanced and retracted from the tool. The hand tool
inserts one wire at a time.
