Packets can vary in size between 0 and 1023. Total 10 bits with
8 LSBs in this register and 2 MSBs in register 0x07.
mode_read_spacing: sets the periodicity of the read pulses; the
periodicity can be set from 1 to 63 (from ‘000001’ to ‘111111’)
mode_packet_size: 2 MSBs of the value (8 LSBs in register 0x06)
