HW-MultiPRO Desktop Programming Tool and Adapter Family
The legacy MultiPRO Desktop Programming Tool and its associated Adapters provided standalone desktop prototype
programming support and ISP for Xilinx FPGAs, CPLDs, and PROMs. All MultiPRO Desktop Programming products and
Adapters are being discontinued and customers are requested to use the more recently introduced third-party programming
solutions and Xilinx ISP Solutions.
Replacement Products
For standalone desktop programming, third-party programming products are now available as described below. Please see
http://www.Xilinx.com/support/programr/dev_sup.htm, or contact the third-party vendor directly for more information.
For ISP, Xilinx also provides the market leading “Platform Cable USB” HW-USB-G and “Parallel IV Cable” HW-PC4 products
that enable direct ISP for Xilinx Platform Flash and XC18V PROMs, as well as Xilinx CoolRunner-II, CoolRunner, XPLA3,
XC95000XV, XC9500XL, and XC9500 CPLDs. For more information on these more advanced desktop programming

Note that the SelectMAP ISP mode that was available in the MultiPRO is not supported by the Xilinx Platform Cable USB,
Parallel Cable IV, or third-party programming solutions.
