10. Three 16-bit Timers
10.1. Timer 0 and Timer 1
After power-up or reset, the default function and operation of Timer 0 and Timer 1 is fully compatible with the
standard 8051 MCU. The only difference is that besides Fosc/12 the user can select an alternate clock source,
the Fosc. The bit-7 and bit-6 in AUXR2 provide this selection.
AUXR2 (Address=A6H, Auxiliary Register 2)
T0X12: Timer 0 clock source select while C/T=0.
T1X12: Timer 1 clock source select while C/T=0.
T0CKOE: Set to enable Timer 0 clock output on P3.4.
The following figures show the selection of alternate clock source for Timer 0 and Timer1.

Where OSC means Fosc, the system clock.
