interface on the CX29503 is configured as a E3 serial channel. The unchannelized E3
is a single data path. All of the unchannelized E3 payload data is mapped sequentially
into VSP 1, which comprised of 84 concatenated TSB time slots. For a given data
path, the transmit receive directions use all 84 time slots and VSP 1.
