11 Thermal Performance
The power supply was placed inside a small box and then placed inside the chamber.
The box protects the unit from being blown directly by the fan inside the chamber. The
chamber temperature was controlled to maintain a constant temperature of 40 C inside
the box. The supply was operated at its rated output power (30 W). The transformer
winding temperature was taken on the outermost layer.
