Segment drivers have 128 current sources to drive OLED panel. The driving current can be adjusted from 0 to
300uA with 8 bits, 256 steps. Common drivers generate voltage scanning pulses. The block diagrams and
waveforms of the segment and common driver are shown as follow.
The commons are scanned sequentially, row by row. If a row is not selected, all the pixels on the row are in
reverse bias by driving those commons to voltage V
In the scanned row, the pixels on the row will be turned ON or OFF by sending the corresponding data signal
to the segment pins. If the pixel is turned OFF, the segment current is kept at 0. On the other hand, the
