MPLAB Integrated Development
Environment Software
The MPLAB Integrated Development Environment
(IDE) is available at no cost. The MPLAB IDE lets the
user edit, compile and emulate from a single user
interface, as depicted in Figure 10-1. Code can be
designed and developed for the dsPIC
in the same design environment as the PICmicro
microcontrollers. The MPLAB IDE is a 32-bit Windows
operating system-based application that provides
many advanced features for the demanding engineer in
a
modern,
easy-to-use
interface.
