Description
Extended Mode Enable
Specifies extended mode. Fixed to 1 and cannot be
modified in mode 1. Readable/writable and the initial
value is 0 in mode 2 or 3.
0: Single-chip mode
1: Extended mode
Reserved
These bits are always read as 0. These bits cannot be
modified.
Mode Select 1 and 0
These bits indicate the input levels at mode pins (MD1
and MD0) (the current operating mode). Bits MDS1
and MDS0 correspond to MD1 and MD0, respectively.
These bits are read-only bits and they cannot be
written to. The mode pin (MD1 and MD0) input levels
are latched into these bits when MDCR is read. These
latches are canceled by a reset.
