9.3 Sniff Mode
Applications based on low power consumption require Sniff Mode
the crystal oscillator during programmable, regular time intervals. At the end of each time interval, the receiver wakes up and sniffs for
the incoming RF energy. If energy is detected, the receiver transitions to the full receive mode and starts data recovery from the RF
carrier. If energy is not detected, the receiver returns to the low power or “sleep” state. Sniff Mode
“sleep” time as well as multiple delay sequences can be fully programmed. Table 24 lists the Sniff Mode
