tion is started. As long as the ColorLock evaluation unit is not connected to the PC with a USB cable,
the USB Link Status box located in the bottom right corner of the window shows the status Not Con-
nected, with a red background. When the unit is connected to the host PC and the host recognizes
the hardware is present, the status changes to Connected to ColorLock Demonstration, along with
the version of the ColorLock unit’s firmware. The status box background changes to green to indi-
cate that communication has been established (see
Figure 2-1. The ColorLock Startup Display
