In addition to displaying colors, the application turns the LEDs on or off. The LEDs are turned on
whenever the real-time color-lock is running (i.e., the green, right-pointing arrow on the left end of the
tool-bar has been clicked.) If color-lock has been turned off (i.e., the red ‘X’ to the right of the green
arrow) the LEDs are also turned off.
