Description
The FAN8301 is a monolithic, non-synchronous, step-
down (buck) regulator with internal power MOSFETs. It
achieves 2A continuous output current over a wide input
supply range with excellent load and line regulation.
Current-mode
response and eases loop stabilization. Fault condition
protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and
thermal shutdown. The regulator draws less than 20µA
shutdown current. The FAN8301 requires a minimum
number
components.
External compensation, enable, and programmable
soft-start features allow design optimization and
flexibility.
