Notes on A/D Conversion:
When selecting AN00 to AN07 or AN20 to AN27 in the analog input port select bit of the A/D0 control register
2 (address 394h), the following settings are required.
1. Set the direction register PD15 (03D3h) of port P15 for the analog input pin to input port.
2. Set the function selection register A9 (03A1h) of port P15 for the analog input pin to I/O port.
With this setting, port P15 cannot be used as an I/O port. Note that port P15 cannot be used as an I/O port even
if A/D conversion is halting.
When using the A/D conversion in multi-port sweep mode, be sure to set the all SW5 to ON
When selecting AN0 to AN7, AN00 to AN07 (MPS11, MPS10 = 10) or AN0 to AN7, AN20 to AN27 (MPS11,
MPS10 = 11) in the multi-port sweep mode select bit of A/D0 control register 4 (address 392h), the following
settings are required.
1. Set the direction register PD15 (03D3h) of port P15 for the analog input pin to input port.
2. Set the function selection register A9 (03A1h) of port P15 for the analog input pin to I/O port.
With this setting, port P15 cannot be used as an I/O port. Note that port P15 cannot be used as an I/O port even
if A/D conversion is halting.
Because a converter board and other devices are used between the evaluation MCU and the user system, the
A/D conversion operates differently from an actual MCU. Make the final evaluation of the A/D converter using
an actual MCU.
