The full syntax of the command is:
fis fru_upgrade [-a] | [-f] | -i <imagename> [-c <bb|npmod|fic|db1|db2|mic1|mic2>]

This command is used to update FRU information on all (-a option) or specific (-c
option) components. The recognized parameters are:
• -a - upgrade all visible components using their FRU to determine the image to be
• -i - Use a specific image for the update (see
• -f - Use FRU information to determine which image should be used for update
• -o - Skip the preservation of serial numbers, MAC addresses, custom OEM records
