10.8.2 Regenerator Section Overhead Monitor
The PHAST-12N terminates the Regenerator Section overhead bytes of one STM-4/OC-12 or
four STM-1/OC-3 signals.
The PHAST-12N RSOH Monitor will insert AIS per line interface towards the MSOH Monitor
according to the following expression:
