Various German and international
approvals are available for feed-through
terminal blocks. They are indiscated in
detail on the corresponding pages. The
feed-through blocks of series WK/WKN
are approved for the increased-safety
type of protection EEx “e” in accordance
to DIN EN 50019 / VDE 0170/0171 part 6
where indicated. No type test is required
for the EEx “i” type of protection.
Note
The information regarding cross-
sectional areas and connection types
pertains to wires without ferrules.
Ferrules are not neccessary for secure
connection.
The voltage ratings apply to the
terminals in their intended application.
When different products are mounted
adjacent to each other, the proper
isolation distances must be adhered to.
For this purpose, Wieland offers a large
selection of appopriate accessories.
