signal. The amplitude of the correction signal is adjustable by the I²C Bus parameter
ASCENTLTI.
The exact position of a luminance transition is calculated by detecting the corresponding
zero transition of the second derivative of the luminance signal. Low pass filtering is
performed to avoid noise sensitivity. The I²C Bus parameter THRESY and THRESY_UP
defines the sensitivity of the DLTI circuit. High values cause that only significant
luminance transitions are improved. Small luminance variations remain unchanged.
