Operational Description
Preliminary
Active with HIR
HIR is similar to HIT but with the Ring wire set to high impedance.
Active with Metering
Any available active mode can be used for metering either with Reverse Polarity or with
TTX Signals.
Ground Start
The Tip wire is set to high impedance in Ground Start mode. Any current drawn on the
Ring wire leads to a signal on IT, indicating off-hook.
Ring Pause
The Ring burst is switched off in Ring Pause, but the SLIC remains in the specified mode
and the off-hook recognition behaves like in ringing mode (Ring Trip).
