Function
Timer or counter selector. Cleared for timer operation (input from inter-
nal system clock). Set for Counter operation (input from ëTxí input
pin).
Timer Operating Mode
00: 8048 timer: ëTLxí serves as five-bit prescaler.
01: 16-bit timer/counter: ëTHxí and ëTLxí are cascaded, there is no
prescaler.
10: 8-bit auto-reload timer/counter: ëTHxí holds a value which is to be
reloaded into ëTLxí each time it overflows.
11: (Timer 0) TL0 is an eight-bit timer/counter controlled by the stan-
dard timer 0 control bits; TH0 is an eight-bit timer only controlled by
timer 1 control bits.
(Timer 1) Timer/counter 1 is stopped.

Memory Extension Register 3
Memory Bank bit; R/Wbit. See MEX2.
User bits; available to the user, for MMU they are donít care.

MOVX-Bank
R/W
If MXM is set, these bits will be used during external data moves into
or from an externally connected Data RAM.
During external Data Memory accesses, the bits MX19 Ö 16 are used
as address lines A19 Ö 16 instead of the current bank (CB).
