MACC_AC4
The MACC_AC3 register, listed in
Accumulator.
The MACC_AC4 register contains the MSB (bits 39:32) of the 40-bit MACC Accumula-
tor. Reading this register changes the status of the DATA bank to EMPTY. Also, if the
CALC bank status is DONE, reading this register swaps the banks. In this case, the ending
status of the DATA bank is DONE while the CALC bank is EMPTY.
Writing to the MACC_AC4 register, listed in
bank from EMPTY to READY. If the MACC is ready to begin a new calculation, the
banks are swapped and the new calculation begins (CALC bank status becomes IN
PROGRESS).
