CP S-Packet Final Assem bly structures are located in TX SS RAM at addresses +1000h to +1FE 0h, +2000h
to +3FE0h, +4000h to +7FE 0h and +8000h to +FFE 0h for 128, 256, 512 and 1023 channels repsectively.
E ach structure is 32 bytes in size.

Recent P eriod: Num ber of CP S-P ackets on which the m axim um recent energy will be calculated. 0 m eans S ID energy is
re-calculated on each CPS-Packet. 15 m eans that the SID energy is recalculated every 16 packets.
Table O ffset[20:12] : Absolute position of the S ilence Suppression State Table in the TX SS RAM to be used with this
channel.

E nergies before indexing into the Table. This value is in dB . A value of 1 m eans a signal of -10 dB will be interpreted as
-11 dB . M inim um value is -78 dB , M axim um value is 49 dB.
M ax Local / Rem ote Energ y : M axim um Local / Rem ote Energy M onitored by hardware of a single CPS-Packet. 0 m eans
0 dBm 0. 78 m eans -78 dBm 0. Can be cleared by software to m onitor over short periods.
Recent CP SP Cnt, Silent Padding E nerg y & Recent M axim um Local Energ y Counter used to know when a new S ID
energy value has been obtained. This counter will increm ent until it m atches the Recent Period field. Then it will be
cleared. The CPS -P acket sent when this field is read and m atches the Recent Period will be included in the Recent
M axim um Local E nerg y calculation. Upon reading a Recent CPSP Cnt at 0, the field Recent M axim um Local E nergy
will be ignored (assum ed to be -78 dB). The S ilent P adding E nergy will be set to the M axim um Local Energy upon term inal
count when the resulting SS state is voice. W hen resulting SS state is silence, this operation is only perform ed when it
will augum ent the value of the S ilent Padding Energy (i.e. m ake the Silent P adding E nergy m ore quiet). In this case, a
S ID CPS -P acket will be sent. W hen the first SID is sent, the E nergy in the SID is the sam e as the one written back in the
S ilent P adding Energy.
G S: G raph State. ‘0’ = No voice suppression; ‘1’ = Suppress voice.
S S Tim er: Silence State Tim er. Increm ents when the G raph state and the SS bit are not equal, until V oice to Silence
Tim er or Silence to V oice tim er are reached. W henever the previous condition is not m et, this tim er will reset to 0. W hen
the state counter reaches the Silent to V oice Tim er or Voice to Silent Tim er, the SS bit will toggle thus the supression
state will change.
S IS S id In Storage. W hen ‘1’, indicates that a SID packet would have been generated last tim e had the phase allowed it.
This m eans a SID packet will be generated this tim e if the channel is deem ed to rem ain silent.
